After he played football for Norwich City youth team, instead of going to university in the UK, Tyree was offered a football scholarship in America where he spent the 4 years living, studying and playing football in Florida.
In 2015 Tyree moved back to the UK and joined Niyaa People after looking for a graduate role. Since then, he was worked his way up to Senior Consultant specialising in permanent recruitment within Building Services across the West Midlands.
What do you like about your desk?
“I like the relationships you can build with both your candidates and clients, a lot of them seem to have very similar interests as me (FOOTBALL).”
What advice would you give to someone coming into recruitment?
“Come into it with an open mind and be willing to learn, there’s not really any definitive right or wrong answers in recruitment, some processes are just better than others, it’s about finding your style.”
