Customer Liaison Officer

Join a leading property services contractor delivering works within the Social Housing sector, in a rewarding Customer Liaison Officer role where you’ll play a key part in supporting residents throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment works across Crewe.

This Customer Liaison Officer opportunity is an initial 4-week temporary contract, with strong potential to extend, offering consistent work within a busy and supportive operational team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building relationships, and ensuring residents receive clear communication and a positive experience during improvement works to their homes.

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you will act as the main point of contact between tenants and operational teams, helping to minimise disruption, manage expectations, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

We’d love to hear from anyone with experience as a Customer Liaison Officer, Resident Liaison Officer, Housing Officer, Customer Service Advisor, or anyone with strong customer-facing experience within housing, construction, or property services environments.

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you will be:

• Acting as the main link between residents, contractors and site teams
• Keeping tenants informed before, during and after works take place
• Supporting access arrangements and resolving customer queries or concerns
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring a positive resident experience
• Maintaining accurate records of communication and property updates
• Supporting operational teams to ensure works progress smoothly with minimal disruption

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role (essential)
• Experience within social housing, planned works or maintenance environments (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The confidence to manage challenging conversations professionally
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Key requirements for this Customer Liaison Officer role:

• Strong customer service background
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, site-based environment
• Full UK driving licence preferred

The role is offering:

• Full-time hours, Monday–Friday (9am–5pm)
• Initial 4-week temporary contract with potential extension

This Customer Liaison Officer role is offering hourly rates up to £18 per hour, depending on experience. Please ensure candidate rate expectations are confirmed upon submission, particularly where candidates have significant experience in similar roles.

This Customer Liaison Officer position is based in Crewe, supporting planned works across local Social Housing properties, with good transport links across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
