Sheltered Scheme Manager

We are currently seeking a Sheltered Scheme Manager to join a supportive team in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a retirement living setting. The role is offered on a part-time, 4-month contract basis, with the potential to be extended.

Key responsibilities of a Sheltered Scheme Manager:

• Oversee the daily operations of the scheme, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for residents
• Provide low-level support and housing-related advice to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external services to maintain effective support networks
• Coordinate and support community engagement activities and resident events
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures

What we're looking for in a Sheltered Scheme Manager:

• Relevant experience in housing, care, or support services
• Proven experience working as a Sheltered Scheme Manager or in a similar role within supported or retirement living
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with a compassionate and proactive approach
• Good knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and welfare benefits
• Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours and take part in an on-call rota if needed

• Rate: £17 - £19 per hour (via Umbrella)
