We are currently looking for a Repairs Call Handler, based in Ipswich, to join a dedicated and customer-focused team delivering an efficient and responsive repairs service. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity offering flexible and hybrid working. It's ideal for someone with housing or maintenance call handling experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What's on offer:
Flexible hybrid working
35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Immediate start for an 8-week assignment
Key Responsibilities of Repairs Call Handler:
Take incoming calls from tenants/customers reporting repairs
Log repair requests accurately on the system
Book appointments and schedule works with contractors
Provide clear, timely updates to customers
Escalate emergency repairs appropriately
Ideal Candidate for Repairs Call Handler Will Have:
Experience in a repairs or customer service environment
Knowledge of housing systems (e.g. Orchard, Northgate)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Availability to start immediately and complete the full 8-week term
