We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Administrator for a well-established property maintenance firm, based in Oldbury, Birmingham.
What's being offered? Role: Commercial Administrator Location: B69 Contract: Permanent Salary: £24,500 Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 17:00 / 5 days in office.
Commercial Administrator roles and responsibilities:
Process and reconcile subcontractor payment applications, ensuring approvals and payments are completed accurately and timely.
Review work orders for invoicing, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and compliance with contract terms.
Liaise with Operations to obtain necessary client variations and identify potential commercial risks, keeping all parties informed.
Collaborate with the Commercial Manager, Commercial team, and Operations to ensure contract profitability and smooth processes.
Prepare reports for the Commercial Manager and Senior Management, monitor on-site work progress, and maintain invoicing levels.
To excel as a Commercial Administrator, you should have:
Prior experience working with Schedule of Rates
Previous administrative experience
A solid understanding of financial systems in a work environment
Knowledge of responsive and planned maintenance
Familiarity with Schedule of Rates
Understanding of repair systems
