As a Property Services Manager, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of property and resident services staff
- Oversee maintenance operations, allocate jobs to contractors, and ensure timely completion of works
- Act as primary escalation point for tenant-landlord disputes, mediating fair and professional resolutions
- Conduct or oversee property inspections, damage assessments, and ensure compliance with social housing regulations
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords, local authorities, and contractors
- Monitor team performance and service quality, identifying areas for improvement
- Proven property and social housing experience is essential
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing a property or resident services team
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, deposit protection schemes, and housing regulations
- Experience managing maintenance, repairs, and contractor coordination
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Permanent, full-time Property Services Manager role based in Ilford
- £35,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Monday–Friday, with flexibility for operational needs
