Leicester 35 - 40 per hour Contract

I am seeking an experienced Asset Surveyor with experience in planned and capital investment works to join my leading client in the East Midlands on an initial 3 months contract. As an Asset Surveyor, you will be responsible carrying out property inspections and ensuring the provision of excellent service to residents and leaseholder customers. You have the opportunity to go from a 3 month contract with an hourly rate of £40 to a permanent role of £40,000 annually.

Successful candidates will have a HNC or HND Surveying qualification or a BSc in Surveying!

Responsibilities of the Asset Surveyor:

Oversee the inspections for general repairs raised and then sending it off to insurance companies to see whether the amount is approved, if not to re-inspect and raise schedule of works to contractors
The work will mainly be carried out on general tenanted properties for structural repairs or occasional fire inspections
Drawing specifications and raising and progressing works orders
Maintaining customer relations in occupied properties
Contract management
HHSRS/ Decent Homes work
