Key Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Manager:
- Managing a team of 6 Support Workers, 2 Concierge staff, 1 Multi-Trade Operative, and 2 Cleaners.
- Providing guidance and support to the team, fostering a trauma-informed approach to care.
- Ensuring effective tenancy management, including safeguarding and supporting tenants with substance misuse challenges.
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Overseeing safeguarding concerns, ensuring all procedures are followed, and managing risk effectively.
- Developing and delivering high-quality support plans tailored to individual tenant needs.
- Proven experience as a Supported Housing Manager or in a similar role within accommodation-based services.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and support for individuals with drug and alcohol misuse issues.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
