Your duties as a civil engineer will include:
Technical project management for multiple sites
Conducting various residential design work including foundation design
Developing and taking various projects from conception to completion
Working and liaising with ground workers, architectural and planning teams

Carrying out site investigations
To be successful in this role as a Development Engineer you will need the following:
Proven industry experience of working upon residential housing estate developments
A good experience within designing, drainage + sewage schemes and external works
Effective communicator with experience of managing a team
Ability and experience using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and Civils 3D

If you are a Hydraulic Modeller, who wants to work for a market leading disciplinary, on a wide variety of development, regeneration and infrastructure projects nationwide, with a value of up to £35million, then apply right now! You will have the chance to work alongside an experienced planning team, which consists of both Transportation and Environmental consultants in providing a wide range of development services for both Brownfield and Greenfield sites.
To be successful in this role as a Hydraulic Modeller you will need to have an understanding of the following:
Flood Risk Assessment tasks, including development and completion of reports.
Environmental Impact Assessment inputs.
Environmental Agency negotiation and flood map challenge experience preferred.
The role typically entails Flood Risk Assessments and hydraulic modelling, using Flood Modeler Pro and TUFLOW, together with good understanding of SuDS design.
Flood Risk Assessments and knowledge of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).
Hydrological analysis using Flood Estimation Handbook techniques and associated software packages, such as ReFH and WINFAP.
Hydraulic modelling in 1D/2D software packages such as Hec-Ras, Flood Modeler Pro, nnovyze ICM and TUFLOW.
Experience in drainage strategy and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) is desirable.
Providing solutions to technical problems and input to provide factual and interpretive reports.
Have ability and experience of planning and managing workloads to satisfy project demands, including work load supervision and resource planning.
