Join a well-established housing provider, on a permanent, full-time contract as a Gas Engineer, carrying out servicing, safety inspections, repairs and heating installations across communities in North Somerset.

I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in domestic gas engineering, boiler servicing, central heating repairs or social housing maintenance who is looking for a secure role with a supportive local employer.

The Gas Engineer role is offering:

£41,442 per annum
Permanent, full-time employment
Company van provided
Tablet and technology provided for jobs and reporting
Ongoing training and development opportunities
Opportunities to gain additional qualifications, including licensed asbestos removal training

As a Gas Engineer, you will be:

Carrying out annual gas servicing and safety inspections
Diagnosing faults and completing gas maintenance repairs
Installing and upgrading central heating systems
Completing boiler replacements and associated works
Ensuring all work meets relevant gas safety legislation and regulations
Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
Using a tablet-based system to manage jobs and complete reports

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

Relevant qualifications in domestic gas engineering
Current gas industry registrations and certifications
OTEC registration (desirable but not essential)
An understanding of Health & Safety legislation
Experience carrying out gas servicing, repairs and boiler installations
A full UK driving licence
