Carpenter role covering Bournemouth, Christchurch and Hurn, paying £34,944–£38,992 per year, with a company van and fuel card provided. This is a full-time social housing repairs role working as part of an established Property Team. You'll need to be an experienced Carpenter with strong residential maintenance experience, covering everything from 1st and 2nd fix carpentry through to doors, windows, kitchens, fencing and associated multi-trade repairs.

As a Carpenter, you will be:
Completing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry repairs.
Installing and repairing internal and external doors, windows and door frames.
Carrying out UPVC servicing and installation.
Completing locksmithing and gaining entry works, including lock changes.
Installing and repairing fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
Completing kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.
Undertaking associated plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and general maintenance.
Working across social housing properties as part of a repairs team.
Completing jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Working professionally with residents and maintaining clean, safe working areas.

Strong Carpenter experience within residential maintenance.
Previous experience working as a Carpenter in social housing or a similar residential environment.
NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a minimum of 5 years' proven carpentry experience.
Experience with both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
Experience carrying out associated multi-trade repairs.
A strong understanding of health and safety.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full and current UK driving licence with at least 1 year's driving experience.
The ability to drive and take home a company van.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
