Multi-Trade Operative (Plumbing Specialist) role covering Maidenhead, paying £43,951 per annum + up to £7,032 performance pay, with a company van, protective clothing and £155 annual tool allowance.
This is a permanent role working across social housing properties, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance. You must be a qualified plumber by trade or have substantial relevant plumbing experience, alongside broader multi-trade skills. You'll also need to be comfortable working across void and tenanted properties and participating in an out-of-hours rota.

As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:

Completing reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance as your primary trade.
Undertaking a variety of multi-trade repairs across void and tenanted properties.
Completing general property maintenance and associated remedial works.
Identifying faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
Managing your workload and responding to changing priorities.
Working professionally with tenants and minimising disruption.
Completing jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintaining clean and tidy working areas.
Participating in an out-of-hours service on a rota basis.

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

Qualified as a plumber by trade or has substantial, demonstrable plumbing experience.
Previous experience working as a Multi-Trade Operative, Plumber or similar.
Strong plumbing skills alongside experience in other trades.
Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
Experience working in both void and tenanted properties.
The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
A full, valid UK driving licence.
A willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota.

The role is offering:

£43,951 per annum
Up to £7,032 annual performance pay

42 hours per week

Location & travel
Based around Maidenhead, with candidates ideally living within 20 miles of the head office. Those living further away may be required to contribute towards fuel costs for the van commute to the Maidenhead office.

Interviews

First interview via Microsoft Teams with the Multi-Trade Supervisors.
Second interview involving a practical skills test at a void property.
