Join a well-established and supportive property maintenance contractor working across Oakham, Leicestershire and the surrounding areas, where your work will make a real difference in tenants’ homes.

This is a great opportunity for an Electrician to join a busy responsive repairs team, carrying out electrical maintenance, testing and repairs across domestic properties. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a generous paid call-out rota around 1 in every 6 to 8 weeks.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester or in a similar social housing repairs role.

As an Electrician, you will be:

Carrying out reactive electrical repairs and maintenance in domestic properties
Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances
Completing EICRs, testing, inspections and remedial works
Completing electrical certificates and condition reports accurately
Aiming for first-time fixes while working safely and efficiently
Working alongside other trades where needed
Completing daily worksheets and recording materials used
Providing a professional service to tenants and clients

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

C&G 2360 Part 1 and 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
A full UK driving licence
Experience completing EICRs and remedial works
Previous experience in social housing or property maintenance

Desirable:

Testing and Inspecting qualification
PAT testing qualification
Part P, Water Regulations or Unvented Hot Water certificate
Current JIB card or relevant health and safety certification

This role is based around Oakham and the wider Leicestershire area, with travel across surrounding locations. The office is based in Rushden, and the wider patch may include areas across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Peterborough and St Neots, so a full driving licence is essential. With a company van and fuel card provided, travel between jobs is made straightforward.
