Enjoy a Domestic Gas Engineer role working for a property services contractor delivering planned works within social housing. Join a team supporting a long-term contract where the work is straightforward and compliance focused rather than complex diagnostics or repairs. This is a great opportunity for a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to support planned works isolating gas supplies when scaffolding is erected, carrying out basic flue-related adjustments where required, and returning to reinstate supplies once works are complete. The work will be based around the Tewkesbury area.
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be:
Working across the Tewkesbury area
Isolating gas supplies at domestic properties when scaffolding is erected
Carrying out basic flue related adjustments or fittings if required
Returning to properties to safely reinstate gas once works are completed
Travelling between social housing properties across the local patch
Working in line with gas compliance and safety requirements
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
ACS qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
Experience working within domestic properties
Experience within social housing or planned works programmes (ideal)
Own van and tools suitable for mobile work
A full UK driving licence
The Domestic Gas Engineer role is offering the following benefits:
£29 – £31 per hour
Initial 4 month contract starting in April
Further phase expected giving potential for longer-term work
Location & travel: This Domestic Gas Engineer role is based around Tewkesbury with travel required between properties within the local area. Engineers will need their own van to travel between sites.
