As the Groundworker, you will be responsible for duties such as:
- All aspects of external ground works
- Excavate foundations, footings, and service trenches to required depths and dimensions
- Install drainage systems, manholes, gullies, and inspection chambers
- Lay and compact sub-base materials; pour and finish concrete for slabs, bases and Kerbs
- Carry out hard landscaping, including kerb laying, block paving, and footpath/road construction

- Previous experience as groundworker in construction
- Competence with hand tools, power tools, and small plant
- Ability to read site drawings and set out levels
- Knowledge of drainage, foundations, fencing, and hard landscaping work
