As a Repairs Manager, you will be:
- Taking operational control of the repairs team, ensuring the effective delivery of the responsive repairs service.
- Overseeing damp and mould cases, disrepair, and more complex repairs through to successful resolution.
- Assisting with the delivery of void works across the housing stock.
- Ensuring full compliance with all Health & Safety (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Managing and monitoring budgets of up to £4 million, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Effectively managing sub-contractors and in-house teams to ensure all works are completed to agreed standards and timescales.
- Driving continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- At least 3 years’ management experience in a property, housing, or maintenance setting.
- Proven experience managing responsive repairs services.
- Strong budget management skills and the ability to ensure effective use of funds.
- A proven track record of service improvement and team leadership.
- A sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- The ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplined workforce.
