Gas Engineer

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer to join our team for an exciting permanent role based on a domestic social housing site in Nottingham. This position focuses on isolating and recommissioning boilers, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently after maintenance work is completed.

Role overview:

• As a Gas Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to isolate boilers each morning so that necessary works can be carried out, then in the evening, you'll be re-commissioning the boilers and performing safety checks to ensure they are back up and running safely
• You will be working on domestic social housing systems, ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard and in full compliance with safety regulations

Key responsibilities:

• Isolating boilers in the morning before maintenance works begin
• Re-commissioning boilers and performing safety checks in the evening to ensure they are operational and safe for use
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to gas appliances and systems
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant gas regulations and codes

We are looking for a Gas Engineer who has:

• Gas Safe Registered
• Full domestic ACS qualification
• Previous experience in isolating, re-commissioning, and maintaining boilers

The Gas Engineer will receive:

• £22 - £25 per hour
• Van and fuel card provided for work-related travel
