Commercial Gas Engineer
Coventry 40K - 44K per year Contract

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Gas Engineer to provide site-based solutions to building services-related customer needs, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works, for a local council.
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be expected:
- Perform work in compliance with industry standards and Approved Codes of Practice
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs within set timescales
- Install new heating systems and improvements
- Ensure timely completion of all work and report any exceptions
- Work in various sectors, including schools, residential, and commercial properties
The Commercial Gas Engineer will need:
- Approved City and Guilds/CITB/ACS qualifications (domestic & commercial)
- Commercial Gas/Safety qualifications
- Unvented hot water experience
- Knowledge of water hygiene/legionella regulations
In return, the Commercial Gas Engineer will receive:
- Salary up to £43,421 per annum
- Standby allowance: £30 per shift (9 shifts per week)
- Out-of-hours call-out rate (minimum 2 hours per call, time and a half after)
- Tool allowance: £36.37 per month
- Van with home-to-work use and fuel card
