I am looking for a Contracts Manager who has experience in the Retrofit industry to join a Housing Association in the West Midlands. The Contracts Managers expertise and knowledge will help bring homes from EPC D to EPC C and above by 2030. This role requires a Basic DBS
Contracts Manager duties:
Conduct site visits and inspections to collect and record detailed data about the properties condition, energy performance, and suitability for retrofit measures.
Ensure projects meet energy efficiency and sustainability targets, including Band C by 2030.
Collect and analyse data to identify viable retrofitting measures.
Support the leadership team in developing and implementing strategies that enhance energy performance and reduce carbon emission.
Prepare contract documentation for the contractor, the partner and handover to the post contract team.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports using industry-standard tools and software, ensuring timely submission to Retrofit Coordinators or project managers
What is required for the role:
Relevant Degree, qualification or significant demonstrable work experience in a similar role.
Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification.
Level 4 Retrofit Assessor certification or willingness to work towards.
Excellent understanding of energy efficiency measures and sustainable construction methods.
Knowledge of PAS 2035 and other relevant retrofit standards and frameworks.
Demonstrable contract management expertise, including budgeting, and contractor performance monitoring.
