Fire Surveyor needed to join one of the countries leading fire safety consultancies covering a new Westminster contract. Previous experience surveying is essential ideally in fire safety but other surveying experience also desirable.
The successful surveyor applicants will be rewarded with a long-term contract, hybrid working, flexible hours and mileage expensed.

Fire Surveyor key duties:
To complete visual inspections and surveys on fire doors to ensure they are up to compliance standards
To complete detailed reports of all works completed in a timely manner
To work closely with other surveyors and passive fire safety team
To liaise with customers, clients and office staff suppling technical and site-specific advice
To have a good understanding of Timber Fire Doors, door surrounds and similar furniture and identify that the frame specification is suitable for the door's rating
To ensure that the choice of frame, casing, lining, and intumescent smoke seals are compatible and meet current Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation
Key skills, qualifications and experience needed:
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
At least 2 years' experience completing surveys
FDIS qualification preferred but not essential as this can be supplied
Any other fire or carpentry qualifications will be beneficial
