We are actively looking for a Compliance and Safety Lead to join a housing association, on a 3 month contract with the option to continue on a permanent basis. This role is office based 5 days a week, with the option for hybrid working for reduced days after 1 month.
As the Compliance and Safety Lead you will be: ·Oversee the management of domestic gas servicing ensuring that servicing is compliant with legal, regulatory and operational requirements ·Oversee the management of safe water hygiene ·Oversee the management of periodic Electrical Inspection Condition Reports (EICR) ensuring they meet guidelines. Portable appliance Testing also when required ·Oversee the management of all aspects of fire safety including periodic fire risk assessments and reviews ·Oversee the management of Asbestos within the stock and ensure it is maintained to industry safety level with removals and training if required ·Oversee the overall management of the Radon policy ·Oversee the compliance of various maintenance and servicing contracts including lifts, fire and smoke alarms, fire-fighting equipment, Wet & Dry risers and Smoke vents Qualifications the Compliance and Safety lead will need: • A good standard of written and spoken English language • High level of IT literacy, understanding application work flows and data systems and competent in Microsoft Office • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified or equivalent experience in the listed. Fire Safety, Asbestos management, gas servicing , Electrical safety, Legionella management, etc What you will receive as the Compliance and Safety lead: ·Whilst on contract weekly pay of £25-£30 per hour ·After 1 month days in office reduced ·Free parking at head office When permanent as the Compliance and Safety lead: ·Pension contributions matched by up to 8% ·3x life cover ·Healthcare plan We are keen to see CV's from compliance and safety leads, compliance and safety officers and compliance officers.
