Kitchen Fitter role covering Basingstoke and Newbury, paying £23 per hour + company van and fuel, with the opportunity to go permanent after 16 weeks on a salary of £36,000–£38,000. This is a planned works role, ideal for someone with a strong background in carpentry, alongside experience in plumbing, tiling and kitchen fitting. You'll be working across occupied social housing properties, delivering kitchen installations and associated works to a high standard.

As a Kitchen Fitter, you will be:
Carrying out planned kitchen installations across occupied social housing properties.
Completing kitchen fitting works, including the removal and installation of units and worktops.
Undertaking carpentry work as your core trade.
Completing associated plumbing works, including fitting sinks and connecting appliances.
Carrying out tiling works, including splashbacks and other kitchen finishes.
Completing associated multi-trade repairs where required.
Working in occupied properties and minimising disruption to residents.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Completing relevant job sheets and paperwork.
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
Strong carpentry experience, ideally as their core trade.
Previous experience in kitchen fitting and planned works.
Experience in plumbing and tiling.
Social housing experience is preferred, although similar domestic maintenance experience will be considered.
Experience working in occupied properties.
The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
A DBS – if you don't currently have one, this can be arranged.
Availability to start quickly.
The role is offering:
£23 per hour
Company van + fuel
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break
No standard overtime or call-out requirement
Temp-to-perm opportunity after 16 weeks
£36,000–£38,000 permanent salary
Long-term work across established housing association contracts
