Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay and consistent local work as an Electrician, carrying out electrical upgrades and rewiring projects within care homes across Bedford. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering essential electrical improvements in occupied communal environments.

You'll be working on a variety of planned electrical projects with a steady pipeline of work. If you're looking for a reliable contract with regular hours and the opportunity to work on meaningful refurbishment projects, this could be the ideal next step.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Installer or Electrical Engineer in commercial, healthcare or similar environments.
As an Electrician, you will be:

Carrying out rewires within communal areas of care homes
Installing trunking and containment systems
Fitting and upgrading emergency lighting
Replacing and upgrading consumer units
Completing electrical upgrades to a high standard
Working safely within occupied care home environments

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

18th Edition Wiring Regulations or a recognised Fire Alarm qualification
The ability to pass a basic DBS check
Experience carrying out similar electrical installation work
Their own van and tools
Reliable transport to travel to sites around Bedford

Location & travel
This Electrician role is based in Bedford, with work taking place across local care homes. The area is well connected by the A6, A421 and A428, making travel between sites straightforward. You'll need your own van and tools to complete the work.
