Take on a long-term contract role with consistent work and weekly pay as an Electrician, supporting a busy bathroom refurbishment programme across North and East Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering essential electrical works within occupied social housing properties.
You'll be working as part of a small two-person team, completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), installing electric showers, and carrying out associated testing. If you're looking for ongoing contract work with a steady workload, this could be the perfect opportunity. I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester, Approved Electrician or Inspection & Testing Electrician within social housing or similar environments.
Installing electric showers within domestic bathrooms
Running and terminating 10mm cabling for shower installations
Carrying out all associated electrical testing and inspections
Working across North and East Birmingham, attending site daily between approximately 7:30am and 4:30pm
Working independently or as part of a two-person team

ECS Gold Card
2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
Proven experience completing EICRs and electrical testing
Experience installing electric showers and bathroom electrical works
A practical approach with the ability to work independently
Own vehicle and the ability to travel across the B19 and surrounding areas

This role is offering a day rate of around £245 per day.
Location & travel This Electrician role covers North and East Birmingham, with work taking place across occupied social housing properties. The area offers excellent transport links via the M6, A38 and A34, making travel between sites straightforward. Applicants will need their own vehicle to travel between jobs.
