This is a great opportunity to secure consistent work with the chance to move into a permanent role. You’ll be supported by an experienced office team who understand the trade, with management that has come through the tools themselves. As a Gas Engineer, you will be:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on domestic boilers and central heating systems
Completing landlord gas safety inspections and CP12 certificates
Servicing and repairing gas appliances, including gas fires, cookers, and range cookers
Fault finding and diagnosing heating systems and controls
Installing and maintaining heating controls and electro-mechanical valves
Servicing and maintaining unvented cylinders
Carrying out Y plan and S plan wiring and fault finding
Installing and repairing gas and water service pipework
Completing general plumbing tasks where required
Supporting with multi-trade property maintenance works, including minor repairs, making good, tiling, and carpentry where applicable
Completing reports and uploading photographs via a company tablet
Travelling to a range of sites across the operating area
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
Minimum two years of recent, consistent, full-time PAYE experience
Domestic ACS gas qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, and HTR1
Current or previous Gas Safe registration
A full, valid UK driving licence
Their own general and battery-powered tools, maintained to a professional standard
