You’ll be working mainly within the same apartment blocks, supporting kitchen programmes from start to finish. With no travel between jobs and a clear schedule of work, this Gas Engineer role is ideal for someone who can work efficiently, keep to programme targets, and complete work to a high standard.

As a Gas Engineer, you will be:
Capping off gas supplies ahead of kitchen works
Completing first-fix gas works for kitchen installations
Returning at the end of the programme to reinstall and connect appliances
Carrying out final testing and completing gas sign-off certification
Working efficiently within the same residential blocks, with minimal travel between jobs
Coordinating with site management around access, sequencing, and completion targets
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
ACS qualifications and relevant domestic gas certifications
The ability to work under the contractor’s Gas Safe registration
Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height
Face fit testing, or willingness to complete this before starting
The ability to provide compliance documents in advance
Experience working in occupied residential properties
A reliable approach and the ability to deliver set outputs each week with minimal supervision
