As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, you will be:
Working across Birmingham and the wider Midlands
Carrying out 3-hour emergency lighting drain tests
Completing walk-round inspections during testing periods
Identifying failed emergency lighting fittings and batteries
Replacing minor emergency lighting fittings using van stock
Recording works and remedials using a CAFM system (Simpro)
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
Experience carrying out basic electrical tasks such as changing light fittings
Emergency lighting experience (preferred but not essential)
An understanding of safe isolation procedures or willingness to complete training
The ability to record work accurately using a mobile system
A full UK driving license

Location & travel as an Emergency Lighting Engineer: This role is based across Birmingham and the Midlands, with travel required between sites including residential blocks, care homes and supported housing schemes. A company van and fuel card are provided to make travelling between jobs straightforward.
