Finance Business Partner

Join a well-established Social Housing organisation in a key Finance Business Partner role where you will play an important part in supporting financial decision-making and performance across the business.

This Finance Business Partner opportunity is offered on an initial 12-week interim contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. The role is based in Peterborough and offers a competitive day rate between £220 – £280, depending on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner who enjoys working closely with operational teams, providing strategic financial insight, and driving performance within a housing environment.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be:

• Partnering with operational and senior leadership teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
• Preparing and presenting management accounts, forecasts and financial reports
• Supporting budget setting, financial planning and variance analysis
• Providing financial guidance to non-finance stakeholders across the organisation
• Identifying financial risks and opportunities to improve business performance
• Supporting wider finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

I’d love to speak with anyone who has:

• Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner or within a similar strategic finance role
• Experience working within Social Housing or a regulated environment (highly desirable)
• Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or working towards

Key requirements for this Finance Business Partner role:

• Experience within management accounting or business partnering
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

The role is offering:

• £220 – £280 per day depending on experience

Travel & Location

This Finance Business Partner role is based in Peterborough, supporting finance operations across the organisation. The area is well connected via the A1(M) and benefits from excellent rail links to London, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
