Niyaa People are members of The Recruitment Network, a support club for recruitment business leaders that offer consultancy, training and events, allowing us to consistently improve our services for the benefit of our customers.

As part of this we are collaborating with the charity The OPERA Global Youth Foundation – an organisation that supports 16 – 24 year olds to find, gain and stay in work; an amazing 86% of young people the charity helps will go on to stay in employment.

In 1943 Christopher Columbus sailed from Cadiz on his second voyage to Antigua, with 17 ships and 1200 men. In 2018, there are just two brave Atlantic Avengers (John and Ricky) rowing one boat over 3000 nautical miles, spending 3 months at sea, all to raise money for charity, one being The OPERA Global Youth Foundation.

As part of this mutual cause, on Friday 02.03.2018 Niyaa People are hosting our own Recruitment Rowathon, competing against other UK recruitment firms and the Atlantic Avengers themselves. A machine is being delivered to the office and we will row consistently for 8 hours as a team with 2 goals: To row the furthest miles and to raise the most money and we want you as our customers to help.

 We already have a confirmed list of clients coming down on the day, whether this is to donate money, get involved with the rowing or simply to come down to show support and enjoy the day, we’d be delighted if someone from the senior/management team could come down and join in with the day, please just email kate@niyaapeople.co.uk (Marketing Executive) with the names of who is coming and we’ll add you to the list.

 If you’re unable to be there in person due do a full diary, we have a collective ‘Just Giving’ page for all the companies taking part, please circulate this amongst your team and customers. Anyone that kindly decides they wish to donate even £1, note that it was in conjunction with Niyaa People as there’s a tally how much each agency has raised.
