Niyaa People have been pioneers in recruitment for the built environment for both the Public and Private Sector since 2008, however their focus has now changed. After noticing their specialism slowly shift over the past few years they’ve now decided to focus on their superpower, Social Housing Recruitment. Alongside changing their specialism, they’ve also alternated their focus sectors to, Social Housing, Corporate Services, Trades & Labour, Property & Surveying and Contract Maintenance.
Dalvinder Shoker, CEO commented “We started this project with the intention of not only updating and refreshing the look and feel of the current Niyaa People website, but also updating the overall look and voice of the Niyaa brand. We’ve changed so much as a business over the past few years, and we felt like we needed a brand and a website to better reflect our personality and ethos.
We’ve undergone significant growth, even through the pandemic, which has been amazing for us as a company. As a result of this, we’ve been reinvesting the money into our business, our people and local communities and charities. We really wanted to create a brand that reflects this culture and the work we do with our clients and candidates.”
The new website has been designed with the aim of enhancing the user experience to make it easier to find the information that is important to our clients and prospective clients alike. It will include a handful of new features such as video testimonials, a Contractor Hub and a collection of bold ‘Join Us’ pages. Niyaa People also have a few tricks up their sleeve and will shortly be releasing their new podcast ‘People in Housing’.
Divisional Manager Ryan Large commented “We’ve got some really exciting things coming up soon, such as the ‘people In Housing’ podcast, that we think will really take our brand to the next level.
Alongside improving our branding, we’ve also had a big push on internal recruitment and training. We’ve launched our new Niyaa People Training Academy which is a 12-week course consisting of 20 modules for Trainee Recruiters. The academy aims to get the trainees on the path to success in recruitment and includes both internal and external trainers.
We want to grow our team to 65 by 2023, and we believe the best way to do this is by giving people a chance to change their life by giving them access to the best training possible through the Niyaa People Academy.”
