An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Officer with our client who is an established provider of affordable housing within the Ferndown area.
To cover maternity leave, a Housing Officer is now immediately required to oversee a patch containing up to 350 properties, covering generic tenancy management.
To act as the main point of contact for customers with tenancy management issues
Work in partnership with external agencies including local police forces
Oversee accounts that have fallen into arrears
Take enforcement action relating to tenancy breaches
Assist new residents through tenancy sign up processes.
Respond and investigate all allegations of Anti-Social Behaviour
You will also have:
Experience managing housing patches within local authority or housing association settings is essential
A current CRB and access to a vehicle for business use
The ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with local residents
The successful Housing Officer will understand the need provide a thorough housing management service and demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running.
In return for your efforts you will receive flexible working patterns, an annual leave entitlement of 24 days plus bank holidays which will be increased following 5 years of service and a car allowance.
