Our client is currently seeking an experienced Income Officer to liaise with residents that have fallen into rent arrears and manage a patch containing up to 1,000 properties.
Below is a brief overview of the main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Manage caseloads of rent accounts that have fallen into arrears
Work alongside residents to reduce the levels of rent arrears
Manage rent accounts to maximise the income for the organisation
Complete income and expenditure documents to create affordable repayment plans
Prepare and present rent arrears cases at court level
Refer residents to the money advice team where necessary
You will also have:
Experience providing excellent customer service, ideally within a local authority or social housing setting
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
The ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on a on-going contract
The successful Income Management Officer will be immediately available and will demonstrate a strong knowledge and understand of PCOL.
